This rare treat is an Altadena treasure. A sweet and exotic taste that will surprise your tastebuds. My Persimmon Jam starts with ripe persimmons picked from the tree in my brother’s backyard in Huntington Beach, California (supplemented with ripe fruit gathered in the Altadena, CA area).

  • Ingredients: Fresh, ripe persimmons, pure cane sugar, pectin, and a touch of  lime juice
  • No chemicals, fillers or preservatives
  • All natural and vegan

This jam never includes additional water or any other filler to “stretch” the product, as many commercial jam makers do, so you can be assured of getting the full fruit flavor.  The water bath canning method is used to preserve the jam. (This method preserves the jam for 18 months or more without the addition of any chemicals or preservatives.)
